Look at your code - you may be missing a CLOSING DIV somewhere.

AnitaKeymasterUnfortunately, you are having a theme specific issue since you just installed it. The developer may already be aware of this issue, so it would be best to contact her.

AnitaKeymasterYou can use the User Role Editor - http://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/. Create user roles for the different Guests and turn on/off the function you want those roles to have. I used that and also this tutorial called - How to Enable Genesis Author Boxes Automatically for ALL Users - http://wpsmith.net/2012/genesis/how-to-enable-genesis-author-boxes-automatically-for-all-users/. So maybe you can tweak his code to a specific role.

June 28, 2013 at 12:43 pm in reply to: How to start excerpts at Paragraph #3 instead of Word #1 #48248AnitaKeymasterRead what I wrote... I said "test it out." Not everything that hasn't been updated fails to work. If you TEST IT OUT and it works for you - it works for you. If it doesn't, you don't have to use it. There are plenty of plugins that haven't been updated in a while. I don't use plugins that haven't been updated in 2 years - when WP places the WARNING sign. So again.. even if it's developed today - there's not guarantee it will work for you. Every situation is different.

AnitaKeymasterTake a look at the Visual Hook Guide. It should point you to the correct location - http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/.

AnitaKeymasterHi @moxiegirl, I received feedback some time ago from Support that Premise issues and compatibility need to be addressed on the Premise website.

AnitaKeymaster@BossLady thanks for sharing that plugin. I'll check it out also.

June 28, 2013 at 12:20 pm in reply to: How to start excerpts at Paragraph #3 instead of Word #1 #48242AnitaKeymaster@purplemagpie, try the Advanced Excerpt plugin. WordPress by default strips out any special coding in the Exercpts. With this plugin, it leaves the coding in tact. Read it over and test it out. Good luck.

AnitaKeymasterHave you recently updated to a new version of WP, Genesis or Both? Are you plugins up-to-date? Lastly, have you recently added the same plugin to both websites? You may want to disable your plugins.

AnitaKeymasterThat theme was developed by The Pixelista and she has her own support forum for her themes. I would suggest you post this there where she can help you directly - http://thepixelista.com/forums/forum/crave/.

AnitaKeymasterIt appears this is a custom theme. The navigation is somehow inside the #header wrap and picking up the URL from the header.

AnitaKeymasterUnfortunately, I don't provide plugin support and cannot troubleshoot why it's not working for you. I would suggest posting a message on their support area as this is plugin related.

AnitaKeymasterYou can do whatever you want. You don't have to stick to the templates that come out the box with the theme. You can create and customize to however you feel comfortable and for what works best for you.

AnitaKeymasterOk, I misunderstood what you wrote. You mean the #header - the entire #header area not a header image. I am not sure, about the #header area. I think you would need to create customized templates and add the different #header areas to them, but don't quote me on that. Check around over on @BradDalton's website (http://wpsites.net). He has a ton of code there - maybe this will be there.

AnitaKeymasterThere are settings in there that run like a Chron Job so what it does is... goes out and looks for NEW content and pulls that new information in. I would suggest setting up a demo and trying it out. It's pretty neat and pulls in the featured images also.

AnitaKeymasterIt looks great! For your logo though, I would use the Genesis Responsive Header Plugin so that it responds - http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-responsive-header.
Also, there was an issue with Modern Portfolio not displaying properly in Internet Explorer 7. Some visitors may be viewing in that late version and I am not sure if that's important to you or not - but there has never been a fix. With that said, I would probably put something somewhere that says, "This site is best view in...." so that if any IE7 or issues come up, maybe the visitor will update their browser.

AnitaKeymasterOk, I answered your question based on what you initially asked. You didn't mention anything about SEO so therefore, since you are using Yoast, you should probably ask them how best to configure that.

AnitaKeymasterCheck out Carrie Dils blog - http://www.carriedils.com/move-header-footer-genesis/948/. It might start you on the right track.
