By the way, toss this at the bottom of your style.css sheet. It will give you a margin on your avatars under the Contributors in your sidebar:
#sidebar .avatar { padding-right: 15px; }

AnitaKeymasterIt's in the plugin. Look for the Post Info field. It will show up next to the picture and below the title.

AnitaKeymasterYou can try using the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified Plugin. I know there are settings in there to show the Author Image and edit the by line as you want it.

AnitaKeymasterWhat I would suggest is setting up a dummy WP site with the new News theme and then copy over your CSS and do a match up that way. Then once you have it down pat - then install the NEW theme with your customizations back into the client area.

July 10, 2013 at 7:01 am in reply to: Education Theme – Home Page Blog Posts & Primary Sidebar #50081AnitaKeymasterCarrie Dils did a nice tutorial on removing the primary sidebar from the home page only - http://www.carriedils.com/genesis-theme-tutorial-primary-sidebar/.
To remove the blog posts, Greg Taylor wrote instruction on how to do that - http://mktgpress.com/removing-blog-post-from-home-page-in-genesis/.

AnitaKeymasterYou can use the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin and use your code in the area you wish to target. You can view the hook guide here - http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/ to locate where to place your code.

AnitaKeymasterAre you talking about the dark/black border around the slider itself?

AnitaKeymasterOkay if you make the left sidebar 160px - that will push the content area over. If you make the right sidebar smaller, it will leave a gap between the content and the right sidebar. The CONTENT-SIDEBAR are wrapped together, so you will need to not only modify the column widths but also the margins/padding and you will need to do the same thing with the SIDEBAR-ALT. Also, keep in mind that the vertical line in between the content and right sidebar is an actual image. You will need to also reset that image width. There's a bit more work to do what you want. If you are familiar with Firebug for Firefox, you can target the right areas and set them the way you want them. If you need customized service, I am available to do this for you.

July 10, 2013 at 6:45 am in reply to: Prose Full width header + footer but wrap to remain the same #50074AnitaKeymasterOne of the developers I follow, David Decker - created a new plugin - Called Genesis Prose Extras - http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-prose-extras/. Download and install it. He's created a fabulous plugin and he's even added a way to move the header and navigations around using a layout function. Try that and let me know if that works.

AnitaKeymasterThere's two ways to do it. You can set your Blog page as the home page since it is just the way you want it. This way you can save the original file in case you decide to use it. Or, you can open up your files in FTP and rename your home.php file to home-old.php and it will reset it to appear like your archives page. You can modify the functions.php file, but I don't like to do that.

AnitaKeymasterThey use the same slider so you don't need to replace anything. The slider settings for Agency are : 950px y 295px. Just change your slider settings.

AnitaKeymasterTry using the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified. Please note, when you install it - it will replace the Featured Posts with the Featured Widget Amplified. You can control title length in there and do more things with it.
For you images, if you use some images that are portrait and some that are landscape, the thumbnails have a tendency to be different sizes. But, one question - for the larger image - do you have a featured image set - or is the thumbnail pulling from the top image in the post? If you are not using the featured image - try using it and regenerate again.
Good practice is that all featured images that you upload should be larger than the desired thumbnail setting.

AnitaKeymasterThat's not going to help me. You can use Dropbox or Dropplr and post the link to the picture in here. But I need a visual and also to be able to test the responsiveness.

AnitaKeymasterYou are using the Fabric8ted theme by Eight Crazy Designs. I used to provide support for her. You need to use the Featured Image function in order for the images to show up like the demo - http://fabric8ted.eightcrazydesigns.com/. If you need more assistance - you can follow the Tutorials on the tab on the demo.

AnitaKeymasterBrad Dalton shares some ways here - http://wpsites.net/best-plugins/how-to-create-a-pricing-table-free-price-table-plugins-for-wordpress/.
Premise has a pricing table but it doesn't look as elaborate as Synthesis although Synthesis is a Studiopress/Copyblogger product - http://getpremise.com/pages/#pricing_table.

AnitaKeymasterIt's difficult to assist you when we cannot see what you have. Have you added a header... possibly a full width header? If so, that could be why it's not responding, but that area is responsive.
