    If you look at the main page on http://www.palmeacres.com you will see in the body of the page a black line right above the H1 text "GRASS FED BEEF..."

    I can't seem to determine how to move that text up so it shows above that line...

    I thought it was a CSS issue, but so far haven't figured it out.

    The black line is the bottom border for the .site-header. You don't have any content in the site header yet.

    You cannot move the h1 into the site header. All you can do is add a bottom border to the h1 if you want a black line beneath it.

    NO its not the border I'm interested in as much as I am making use of that space.

    That's the only black line I see above Grass Fed Beef. Use your browser's inspect tool and you'll see for yourself that the black line is the border-bottom for the .site-header class. With your inspect tool, you can toggle it off and on.

    You cannot move the Grass Fed Beef text into the site header. Site header is not part of the WordPress loop. The text is in a post or page that is generated by the WordPress loop.

    .site-header .wrap{
    padding: 40px;
    }

    I think removing this from css will collapse that space
