All I'm looking to do is decrease the amount of white space in the header - preferably around the site description (tagline). I'm sure the answer is right in front of my face. I've been tweaking padding and so forth in the CSS, but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas exactly where I can make this change? Thanks in advance!

It's http://www.zigitmarketing.com, but I have it down for maintenance (the whole site is in shambles as I get stuff moved for the new theme and new content) so you won't be able to see anything. Don't want to sound snarky, but I don't think it really matters. You can look at the Workstation Pro demo (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/workstation/#demo-full) and see the same concept. Where they have "An independent digital creative agency located in your hometown." I have "A Digital Marketing Agency" on one line. So there's a lot of white space between that and the logo (FYI - I expanded the logo area to 144px to fit a bigger logo) and that and the header image.

In the demo, the site-description has been moved outside of the header. It's in an area called after-header. If you want to leave it after the header, you could adjust the padding in .after-header at line 1148 in style.css. It's currently set to 70px top and bottom. If you wan to move it to another hook, there's an entire section of custom code in functions.php that moves it into the after header area for various templates. You'd have to edit that section of the functions.

    Hi -

I have the same issue only I'm not really understanding the answer provided by Victor starting with .... 'if you want to move it to another hook.....

So... can you dumb that down a little for me please?

I just want less white space as Diva stated.

    Thank you!
    Robin
