    Hi there,

    I'm using Workstation pro on a site and have been checking it on GTMetrix (what else do you do over the holidays?) and I noticed that I was getting F rating for scaled images. I'm using the Featured Page widget and selecting featured-content-sm (600x400) for the featured image.

    When I test the site I get, /path-to-my-image.png is resized in HTML or CSS from 600x400 to 253x169. Serving a scaled image could save 91.4KiB (82% reduction).

    I expected that the media sizes would be optimally set in the child theme, but it seems this isn't the case.

    In media settings I have the following sizes

    150x150
    300x300
    1024x1024

    In the file compression section (I'm using TinyPNG) I have the sizes above and also

    1200x600
    600x400

    but not the elusive 253x169 that GTMetrix is seeing and saying I should serve.

    What is the best way to fix this?

    Did you ever solve this issue? I have the same exact question. I'm using the Wellness Pro theme.

    No, I never got around to solving this.

    I need to go back and revisit it at some point, I'm happy with the site loading time but I'd like to fix the issue and serve the correct size images.
