    Hi All,

    Not exactly a design question, but I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

    I've installed WooCommerce and the Genesis WooCommerce plugin on a site running Streamline Pro. I've tried setting it up to skip the shopping cart and go directly to checkout, following a couple of different methods I found with Google searches. So far no success.

    Any advice?

    Thanks much,
    Susanna

    This should do it:

    add_filter ('woocommerce_add_to_cart_redirect', 'redirect_to_checkout');
    // redirect to checkout
    function redirect_to_checkout() {
        global $woocommerce;
        wc_clear_notices();
        return WC()->cart->get_checkout_url();
    }

    Thanks, Victor. I tried it, and get an error message -- too many redirects.

    For this to work, am I supposed to check the Redirect to the cart page after successful addition checked in Settings/Products/Display? What about the Cart page selection at Settings/Checkout/Checkout Options?

    Thanks.

    Any ideas about the error message? Just bumping this hoping to get a response from someone more knowledgeable than I...

    Thanks.

    I don't know why you'd get the too many redirect message. I've used that same code on many websites without any error. When you add an item to the cart, it just takes you to the checkout page. You might have something else going on.

    Thanks Victor. I'll keep plugging away. What about the settings - am I supposed to check the Redirect to the cart page after successful addition checked in Settings/Products/Display? What about the Cart page selection at Settings/Checkout/Checkout Options?

    Aha! Found the culprit! I had it set to force https before installing the SSL certificate. 🙂

    Appreciate your help, Victor.

    All the best,
    Susanna
