I'm using the Genesis Sample Theme with Gutenberg, and am trying to modify the content elements for each blog post on the Blog page (linked below).

I'm wanting to show only the subject, post image, date and writer for each post on the page, so it's easy to peruse through the posts.

It's currently showing the entire content of each post on the Blog page.

My search results are directing me to “Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Post & Page -> Blog Page Settings.” However, I don’t have a Post & Page section in Customize.

I've also gone into the Blog page in Pages, but there's nothing on that page to edit that I can see.

Will greatly appreciate any direction on solving this.

    thx

@memerunner in regard to your statement:

It's currently showing the entire content of each post on the Blog page.

To control the output of the page you need to go Genesis > Theme Settings. Select Content Archives. From there you have options to 1) No Content, 2) Full Content, or 3) Excerpt. If you do not want the full content but just a snippet, select Excerpt.

Download Genesis for Beginners which is located on the right sidebar of your my.studiopress.com account. You can keep that window open as you learn to navigate Genesis.
