I am trying to reduce the padding on my site above the breadcrumb

Using the inspector it says its a value called
    element.style
    margin-top 52px

However I cannot find where this value is stored?

element.style is not in any style sheet. Anytime you see CSS in the element tag in the inspector, it is an inline style, meaning it's been directly added to the page being displayed. On your site, it's being inserted in the #genesis-content element after the page is loaded by jQuery related to your sumo smart bar.

There's nothing you can do about it unless you can edit the jQuery that's adding the margin-top.
