    I need to add the following code in order to use wp reviews on Genesis but I don't know where to put the code.

    These are the instructions that I received from them:

    Since you are not using one of our themes you will have to insert the code into your theme's template where the thumbnails show.
    Insert the following code into your theme's template:

    <?php wp_review_show_total(true, 'wp-review-on-thumbnail'); ?>
    If you are not familiar with your theme, you can contact the developers of Genesis and ask them where in their theme files that code needs to be inserted so that it shows on their thumbnails.

    Looking forward to help you. Thank you.

    What theme are you using? The way to do this is to use one of the hooks the Genesis Framework provides. A hook is a WordPress action or filter. Many theme developers move hooks around to achieve a specific result. Knowing the theme means we can pinpoint a specific hook. It also depends on the the kind of function wp_review_show_total is. Specifically, does it return a value or not. If it returns a value, use a filter. If it does not, use an action. There's not enough details in your question to provide a more solid answer.

    These code snippet examples may help.

    You'll need to swap out the function call with the template tag for your plugin and create a review.
