    Hi All,

Just started using the Gensis framework with the Executive Pro theme and loving it so far!

I'm stuck with the columns/grid classes that come with Genesis. We output a lot of content items via the WP-views plugin. We output all the data in three columns. Normally we use <div class="width-1-3">CONTENT</div> for each individual output and all the posts are displayed as a three column grid in the frontend.

As I see the Genesis theme requires to add a 'first' class for each row. Is it possible to not use this class but stuill get a grid view?

Sorry for my bad English 🙂

    Kind regards,
    Joost

If you are already using a plugin that outputs columns, why would you use the Genesis classes as well? If you look at style.css for "first," you would see that it clears the floats from previous column classes. If you want consistent results with your display, then yes, you need to use it. You may also want to look at the Genesis Grid loop.

    Dear Victor,

Thank you for your reply and suggestion. We've just installed the Bootstrap plugin for WordPress. Works like a charm 🙂 I haven't take a look at the Genesis Grid Loop yet, but will do that that soon.

    Regards,
    Joost
