I've read some discussion around here about responsive video support in themes (or lack of it) and the suggestions for using the FitVids plugin or other methods. I dug in a few weeks ago to utilize FitVids.js without a plugin in the default child theme (should work in all themes the same way).

So why use FitVids.js instead of the plugin? It's one less plugin. I also read about some issues with the way the plugin works. By manually integrating the JS file, you have more control over supported video formats.

If you're interested in adding this to your blog, you can check out my instructions for it on my site, http://www.chrisrouse.us/how-to-make-fitvids-js-work-with-genesis-framework. I'll be testing this with some of the other StudioPress child themes in January to make sure it works well without any other changes as well.
