Hi - I am having a difficult time finding a thumbnail slideshow gallery - I am doing this photo gallery for a friend using Landscape Theme - in the posts he wants a moving slideshow with thumbnails underneath.  I was using slideshow satellite but it started going completely off course.

What slideshow gallery plugin could I use.

Also  - is it true that slideshow galleries with thumbnails don't work well for Mobile responsive sites.

I find that a good gallery is hard to find.

You can use the Genesis Responsive Slider in a custom widget area or another slider like Easing slider or Slide Deck which both offer a shortcode.

You can then use the native WordPress gallery underneath your slide show.
