    Sure Im not using correct wording here, but want to style ANY post on the homepage, BEFORE ones opens the full post. Im sure I just don't know what "selector" it is.

    Ive tried Css in various "entry-" Selectors, but none work for the above scenario

    Thanks much

    Are you talking about styling the excerpts? If so, the WordPress default behavior is to strip HTML from excerpts. Allowing HTML in excerpts is a question that is asked regularly. There are many responses if you search the site.

    If that's not what you're talking about, then please provide a specific example of what you a trying to accomplish. The post is a little vague.

    "Styling Excerpts", yes Victor, I'll snoop around, now that I have the vernacular correct, thanks Vic.

    Thank you Victor Font, I added this:

    /* I added below to add html to excerpts */
    add_filter( 'get_the_content_limit_allowedtags', 'get_the_content_limit_custom_allowedtags' );
    function get_the_content_limit_custom_allowedtags() {
        // Add custom tags to this string
        return '<style>,<div>,';
    }

    to style span tag, inside a div.

    Appreciate your time.
