If you look at this site scroll down where it says Top 12 reasons...

It seems to be aslider but each box is animated to flip.

How is that done? Is there a special slider plugin for this or is it all custom coded?

They are building that page with Visual Composer and the Flip Box add-on. I built some flip boxes that are a little similar for http://cobinlaw.com using jQuery.
