    Hello,

    I tried a fix to make my secondary sidebar extend to the bottom of the page. I found a fix and it worked! Yay! But now the links in the sidebar don't work. Here's what I added to the CSS

    html{
    min-height:100%;/* make sure it is at least as tall as the viewport */
    position:relative;
    }

    #sidebar-alt {
    top:0;
    bottom:0;
    margin-top: 40px;

    overflow:hidden;
    z-index:-1;;
    position: absolute;
    }

    Of all the fixes I tried this was the only one that worked. But I have no idea why it would stop the widget info from being active. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!!
    Judy

    You have a double semi-colon after the z-index. That will break your css.

    Thank you for catching that!

    I've removed it, but the link problem remains. I have no idea why the CSS would affect the links, but removing the code that makes the sidebar go all the way down brings the links back. Adding it back gives me the sidebar extension, but breaks the links.

    Any other thoughts?

    Many thanks!

    It's your z-index dimension. Comment it out and the links will work. By making z-index -1, you are stacking it underneath the inner wrap rendering the links inaccessible.

    Yay that worked! That's what I get for copying someone else's code without understanding all parts of it.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!
