    Hi,
    I tried adding a break to the tagline in the General Settings on a site using Pretty Creative theme. I deleted the break. I noticed that now the homepage font size is larger than it should be, 14px not 11px. I'm not sure these events are connected, but they seem to be.

    I used the inspector and now the homepage site description font-size appears to be connected the this css:

    .prettycreative-home.blog p {
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    and the and the .site-description shows font-size: 11px struck out.

    All the other pages are displaying as they should. I tried custom css for the site description re-installing Pretty Creative theme, deactivating the plugins, re-installing the latest update of WP, clearing the cache and clearing the browser cache to no effect.

    Can anyone give me any guidance how I might remedy this?

    Thanks,
    Linda

    Just add !important to the .site-description font-size css like this:

    .site-description {
    font-family: 'montserratlight';
    font-size: 11px !important;
    letter-spacing: 1px;
    line-height: 1.9;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    }
