    I'm using Pretty Chic Pro as the basis for a new site and have a problem with the Admin menu that Google hasn't helped me solve so I'm hoping someone here can.

    I am making changes to structure and style which are not a problem but preclude me from using the customizer as it's not just adding extra CSS. The problem I have is that the WP Admin bar covers half of the fixed header. So in order to preview, I have to have a second browser opened and not logged in or with the customizer loaded to see my changes.

    How can I adjust the header so that the top margin increases when logged in and the admin bar is displayed so that I can see the entire site container? I've tried several solutions via Google and with my browser inspector but nothing seems to work.

    This is normal with fixed position headers and also easily solvable. Add this to your CSS:

    .admin-bar .site-header {
        top: 32px;
    }

    Thanks Victor, I had tried that before but had a caching issue - your reply led me to fix it.
