    Hello and TYIA,

I am trying to add a link-blog to my blog page (kinda like daringfireball).  I read about asides and this seems like it will work, but I don't think Post Formats are supported in the Focus theme.  Is there a way I can add them?  should I just follow the directions here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats or will this mess up the child theme?

Another option might be to use the "Link-Blog" plugin, but I don't know where to edit the php to include the code as explained in the installation page (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/link-blog/installation/).

    Thank you,

    dp

Yes, you can add post formats to any theme. See this.
