Looking at Ambiance Pro and Modern Portfolio themes, I like what they have set up on the home page but the images are via blog posts. Is there a theme that will do this by highlighting pages instead? I want people to be able to click on an image and go to a page, rather than a blog post. Is that possible?

Modern Portfolio uses the Genesis Featured Post widget to display the content in the portfolio area. You could use the Genesis Featured Page Widget instead to achieve what you want.

Thanks for responding. But the featured post widget you can set 6 posts. For the page you can only do 1 at a time. I'd have to put in 6 separate page entries then?
