    Hi guys -
    Annoyingly I can't find my way to fix this gap at the top of my Monochrome Pro theme between my slider and my menu.

    I can fix it using Firebug by removing the padding-top value here, but when I apply it in the CSS file, it doesn't do the same thing.

    .front-page-1 .flexible-widgets {
    overflow: hidden;
    padding-bottom: 180px;
    padding-top: 140px;

    This theme has this 'flexible widgets' which I'm not sure how to use properly yet.

    Help appreciated,
    Regards
    Nathan

    Your site looks fine. If changing CSS works in Firebug and doesn't work when changing style.css, always look to caching issues, either browser, server, or plugin related caches. Holding the shift key down when refreshing the page forces the style sheet to reload.
