Hi everyone! I'm new and have a few questions about the Genesis site I'm building with the News Pro child theme - http://starsandscars.com/demo/

    Header Text

I've been unable to create a happy medium as far as header description text alignment/spacing on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari mobile. Firefox is giving me the closest thing to what I want right now, with text nice and tight on the left - though I'd like the word "fans" to ideally not be hanging out on its own line. But adding <br> to the Site Description under Customize doesn't work (to try and bump some more text down to that third line with "fans"). Nor has changing the font size or padding in CSS made a difference for me! I click Save, and nothing actually changes 🙁 Plus, the description text is showing with extra space between lines on Chrome and Safari mobile for me right now - I'd like that not to happen! Any insight on these alignment/spacing issues?

    Archive Pages

My secondary navigation includes 6 pages - The Latest, Old Gems, etc. When a user clicks on any of those 6 pages, I'd like the related posts to show with thumbnails and 200 characters each - essentially Archive pages that only show posts with certain Categories, ie. The Latest page populates *only* posts that are tagged with Category "The Latest." Do you know how I could make that happen? Do I need a plugin or shortcode?

    Users/Authors

Majorly stumped on this one. I have several people who write for my blog, but I am the only person who actually manages the site and publishes them. So, while Mike may have emailed me text for a post, when I go in to the site and publish, it will naturally show me as the Author of the post. Is there a way to get around this *without* having to create Users for all my authors, especially since they won't actually be in the site at all? I don't want them to have usernames/passwords for my website.

Hope all of this makes sense! Your help is VERY much appreciated!

    Howdy!
Regarding your site description, I don't have a technical fix, but you may be able to solve this problem with a minor edit. A couple of suggestions that may work:

ONLINE MUSIC MAG FOR EMO KIDS & FOREVER FANS
I actually think "Mag" sounds more emo 🙂

MUSIC MAGAZINE FOR EMO KIDS & FOREVER FANS
"Online" is sorta implied so you can probably ditch it

    1. Header layout. See if this helps: https://victorfont.com/understanding-genesis-framework-site-header-layout/

    2. Archive pages for specific categories: https://victorfont.com/use-query_args-filter-wordpress-posts/

3: You can use custom fields to designate the Author, but you'd have to write a lot of code to make this work around the build-in WordPress way of doing things.
