MemberThis is probably a stupidly simple oversight on my part - but I've installed dozens of Genesis themes and have never had THIS happen:
The entire homepage is aligned left with no left margin - it bleeds to the very edge of the page. Any thoughts on why it's doing this? (The site is behind a maintenance mode screen, so no link.) Could it be code from an earlier theme...? The client used to run iThemes builder.

MemberThanks for responding!
The site is behind a maintenance screen, so a link won't help. :-/ (It's vollitalk.com)
I've been adding some stuff and it looks like this now, to give you an idea:
I tried disabling all plugins to see if that was part of problem, but no luck.

MemberHey Ash! Does it do this if you install the theme on another site, or is it that site specifically?

MemberErin! Hi! Thanks! 🙂
Good question - when I just tried Executive on it - it looked fine! Which means it's something IN that theme. Hmm.

KeymasterAre you using any widgets, text widgets, column classes?

MemberGood ideas - I tried removing all the widgets & text widgets or setting a page as the homepage- it's still having that problem:
Thank you so much for responding!

KeymasterHow did you add the image? You could have an unclosed DIV.

MemberThe background image in Minimum is just done through the Appearance --> Background in the dashboard, so it shouldn't have any coding errors! :-/
ETA: I tried taking out the image and it still was flush with the left side of the page.

KeymasterOkay. It's really difficult to help when we cannot see the site. Can you take if off maintenance mode for a few minutes?

MemberYep - I will do it for 15 minutes. http://vollitalk.com/
(Keep in mind - haven't done anything but install!)
Thank you!!

KeymasterWhen I went there, the image did not come in. Can you remove it and reset the back to the default. Also, I check your CSS to see if it might be there and they are the same except the verbiage in red/green - see here -http://diffchecker.com/cu2zdv4h. Did you modify the front-page.php file at all?

MemberThanks - I removed it.
I haven't touched the code in the theme at all! I did change the header/logo size in functions.php to
//* Add support for custom header
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
'width' => 125,
'height' => 92,
'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
'header-text' => false
) );but the lack of margins was a problem before then - from the moment I activated the theme. Should I contact SP support for this? I feel like it's something simple, but have wasted a whole day on it!

KeymasterTry using FTP to upload the front-page.php file again manually.

KeymasterYes, when did you download your theme? Which Genesis are you running? Did you update to the newest Genesis yet?

MemberJust overwrote the front-page.php file with a new upload - still the same problem.
Running Genesis 2.0.2 and the newest download of Minimum (the client just bought yesterday and sent me the file).

KeymasterOk, time to put in a support ticket then. Reference this dialogue to them so they can read everything. If they resolve, can you post back?

MemberWell - it was an easy fix! When I deactivated all the plugins, I left up the maintenance mode since it's a corporate site and they don't want people to see it - and there is a known conflict with that specific plugin and Minimum. So strange since it worked with Executive, but I'm glad it is fixed!
Now to find a new maintenance plugin...thanks for all your help!
