Hi everyone! I'm new to StudioPress. I'm in the very beginning stages of creating a site using the Outreach Pro Theme and I've added two widgets (Genesis Featured Posts and Twitter Feeds) beneath the four feature windows on the homepage. The widgets work fine; the problem is that I can't get them to display side-by-side. I asked StudioPress if they could help and here's what they said. Would anyone be willing to help me with with code to fix this issue?

To add two more widgets below the Home Bottom widget area that use the layout you describe, you may need to add a new home widget area. To do this, you'll need to edit the theme's style.css, front-page.php, and functions.php files.

Unfortunately, we don't have copy/paste code to provide you for this, as it is custom code that would need to be written and tested specifically for your site. Also, we generally do not give step by step instructions for theme customizations such as this: http://www.studiopress.com/what-support-includes.

You may want to post a thread in our Community Forums. It's possible that another user has done something similar and would be willing to share their code with you: http://studiopress.community

This article was written specifically for the News Pro theme, but the process is the same for adding a widget area to any Genesis theme:

Add Widget Areas to News Pro Theme

You'll have to work out the CSS on your own.
