    I am new to Genesis and trying to learn how things work, including how to use Genesis Simple Hooks plugin. So I tried to create a small gap (margin) between a full-width header image and a header_right menu. I put in the code:

    .genesis_header_right {
     margin-top: 10px;}

    And it worked. But the code itself also showed up on the screen. So the code must be wrong/incomplete. How do I fix it?

    Inline CSS such as what you're trying to use still needs to wrapped in script tags.

    Also, custom CSS should go in the header or footer script areas.
