    I' d like to move the navigation bar above the title area/header, but the code I have for it is moving them both.

    Here's what I used:

    remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
    add_action( 'genesis_before_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );

    Help!

    You are removing genesis_do_nav from the wrong action. If you look at the Parallax Pro functions.php file around line 48, the developer already moved genesis_do_nav from genesis_after_header to genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap. All you have to do is change line 48 and replace genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap with genesis_before_header.

    I did use that, but it pushed the header up also, and created a wide white area beneath it.

    If the header pushed up, it's a css issue. The nav and header are mutually exclusive. If you move the nav, unless someone customized your site, it's impossible to move the header at the same time. They are two different components in different hooks.
