Modify image header (logo) with Sample child theme

Hi guys,
i need to modify the image size of the theme but i don't know where to start.

I've find in the functions.php this code, where i can change the dimension of the image header from 600x160 to 250X250, uploaded a new image, but this don't work.

// Add support for custom header.
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
	'width'           => 600,
	'height'          => 160,
	'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
	'header-text'     => false,
	'flex-height'     => true,
) );

What i must do?

Sorry, i've also modified style.css from

}
.header-image .site-title > a {
	background-position: center !important;
	background-size: contain !important;
	float: left;
	min-height: 80px;
	width: 100%;
}

to

}
.header-image .site-title > a {
	background-position: center !important;
	background-size: contain !important;
	float: left;
	min-height: 250px;
	width: 100%;
}

Inside Firebug it's works but in the real site it doesn't work
