    I have a short secondary nav menu that I would like to make non-responsive. When adding the code to the functions file to move it to the footer, it automatically follows the responsive js and css behavior. Does anyone know a function I can add to make only the secondary nav non-responsive?

    OR I could remove the secondary nav designation, and if so, is there a code that could hook a menu by name into the footer?

    The site design is such that I prefer not to do put in the footer widgets, but can consider that if trying to put it in the footer is troublesome.

    I'm using a customized version of the Beautiful theme, but I think this would apply universally. The URL I provided is temporary and the site will be launched soon.

    It looks like you're using a custom version of the Beautiful Pro theme.

    In the delivered version, the secondary nav menu code is around line 115 in functions.php:

    //* Reposition the secondary navigation menu
    remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' );
    add_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav', 15 );

    If you want the menu in the footer, change the add action to:

    add_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_do_subnav' );

    Yes, a customized version of Beautiful, as noted.

    I am not trying to reposition the nav. I am trying to make it non-responsive when in the footer by any method, two possibilities noted.

    Perfect! Thank you pixelloop. I had actually looked in that file; not sure why it didn't jump out at me.
