Kreativ Pro Gradient

On the Kreative Pro theme the Front Page 1 widget seems to have a dark gradient overlay on the big image.

It makes the picture look dark.

How can I remove/reduce the gradient overlay?

Look for the following code in style-front.css around line 95 and remove it:

.image-section > .overlay {
    background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5);
    height: 100%;
    left: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
    width: 100%;
    z-index: 3;
}
