The logo of the site I am working on it comprised of three bars. They have straight sides, but the top and bottom are angled. If you go to the site you will see what I mean.

I would love to be able to have a similar angle to the top of the menu. Does anyone know of a way to make this possible?

You can, but not with a single shape. You would have to layer shapes to achieve this effect in CSS. Browse for CSS shape generators and play around with triangles with rounded corners. This site may give you what you want: https://coveloping.com/tools/css-shapes-generator
