    Not sure why this is such a tough, time-wasting problem for me but I need to figure out how to enable comments ('Leave a reply') for testimonials pages. I have explored this in a forum thread that seemed to have a direct solution for this by adding some PHP within function.php, but this 'solution' just didn't work for me and ended up crashing the site.

    Dashboard -- settings -- discussion is where I thought I'd turn on comments for testimonials. Didin't work.

    I also tried going to Dashboard -- Genesis -- theme settings to manage where comments are allowed. Same problem, no option there for turning on comments for testimonials.

    I'm not sure if this info matters much but I'm using the Centric Pro theme for my employer's site, https://maidsbytrade.com

    It'd be much appreciated for a Studiopress developer or any other developer to chime in here and share thoughts on this or a solution, if there is one. I figure there must be a solution to this. If help is out there, thanks in advance.

    It looks like this isn't really using a plugin unless you count JetPack as a plugin. https://jetpack.com/support/custom-content-types/

    It may be a page generated by Jetpack so you would need a template coded which includes support for genesis comments or a custom function.

    I would ask Jetpack how to enable the comments form on Testimonials.

    Still no solution, waiting to hear back from them. This is ridiculous. I can't stand Jetpack sometimes, it makes no sense why enabling comments for testimonials isn't an option
