Hello Genesis friends!
Forgive me if this is explained elsewhere. Please point me where I need to go.
I want to create separate category pages (aka "magazine sections," each with a different header, different sidebar widgets and content, possibly even a different footer.
Why? I'm also using GeoDirectory and I want to pull in the different directory content for each magazine section/category.
Is this possible?
(It's been a bit of a nightmare to integrate GeoDirectory the way I would prefer to use it - less as a pure directory site, more as a magazine with complementary directory content placed where I want it. GeoDirectory is built to do its own thing.:-))
Ignoring GeoDirectory, how would I do this within Magazine Pro?
Thank you for your kind patience.
Bumping this so it doesn't get buried.
I realize I posted this during the holidays when everyone was elsewhere.
Really hoping for a bit of direction from this group. I know enough about WordPress to get myself in trouble because I'm not a coder. Not sure from the searching I've done if this is possible, or if I need to hire a developer.
Appreciate your time.
Did I ask an improper question that this query has been ignored for a week?
Having questions answered on a forum where responses are provided by community volunteers is always a hit or miss proposition.
Creating category pages is a WordPress feature. You simply choose the category from the menu builder. Make sure your posts are assigned to a category.
