I am trying to make a Genesis child theme responsive again, using CSS custom script. I'm not sure what the "cut-off" vertical line is called... but when I shrink the window by dragging the right handle of window to the left, there's this invisible vertical cropping on left side while the responsive theme scales everything else down.

The child theme by default had a 960px width. I changed this to 1100px width, so the page layout looks wider. The problem now is this: I have a navigation bar with menu links: Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, Page 4, etc. The vertical cut-off line (invisible) stops at the left side of Page 2, instead of the left side of Page 1 on the navigation bar. So it's like the navigation bar is cropped.

What's that responsive vertical cut-off point/line called and how can I use CSS to shift the responsive window "starting point" so it crops on the left side of "Page 1" (instead of "Page 2") of the navigation bar?

Victor, I actually fixed the issue. It had to do with margins and not cancelling it at trigger points in the responsive part.
