    Hi forum, I hope everyone here is having a great day. I would like to know how to change the size of my "genesis header right widget" I am using the Genesis lifestyle Pro Child theme. I want to change the size so that it will accept a custom banner size 500 x 104. Can you help?

    First, you need to understand how the header all fits together: https://victorfont.com/understanding-genesis-framework-site-header-layout/

    Change the width in .site-header .widget-area CSS that you have in the WordPress custom CSS area. Be careful not to bump into the left area as described in the article.

    Hi Tony,

    Along with checking out the article, swap out the code in line 1148 of your style.css file and replace it with this one:

    .site-header .widget-area {
    	color: #fff;
    	float: right;
    	width: 500px !important;
    }

    That will make your banner fit the height of the header like the one across from it. Let me know if this helps!

    Erika and Victor, Thank you both so very much for your help. This is by far one of the best forums I've visited because of the folks here being so knowledgeable, willing to help, share and even teach. Again thank you? I will let you know if the code change did the trick.
    sincerely
    Tony S.
