So I can't seem to figure out how and where to change the "footer" with the copyright info, AND I have like an extra "footer" below on my home page only that says "Powered by Web Design Company Plugins" that I can't figure how to get rid of! Help!

The "powered by" line is put there by some plugin you've installed.

You can customize the footer either through a code snippet: http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/footer/#custom-footer

or install the Genesis Simple Edits plugin.

Thanks Victor! I figured it was a plug-in, but wasn't sure which one, but have now founded it by deactivating and reactivating one by one. And the Genesis Simple Edits worked perfectly, thanks! One more question. My menu seems to be down one line… it's not on the same line as the name of the business. Is that easily fixable as well?

You menu is displayed in the primary navigation area. Use the custom menu menu widget in the header-right widget area. This will place the menu next to the name. Also, you need to edit the menu and remove it from the primary navigation area other wise the menu will show twice.
