    Hi there. I've been using Beautiful and then Beautiful Pro for several years. I modified my fonts for post titles and sidebar titles with the help of the Google Fonts plugin, which has always worked nicely. Now that my php has been updated to 7, the Google Fonts plugin isn't working nicely.

    Not having done any design updates on this theme for a long while (I'm happy with the look) what is the best way to customize fonts on Beautiful Pro? The font I'm working with is AmaticSC.

    Thanks so much.

    Beautiful Pro loads its Google fonts on line 28 of functions.php. This is the code:

    wp_enqueue_style( 'google-fonts', '//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:300,400,700|Raleway:400,500', array(), CHILD_THEME_VERSION );

    To add the Amatic font, change the line to this:

    wp_enqueue_style( 'google-fonts', '//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:300,400,700|Raleway:400,500|Amatic+SC', array(), CHILD_THEME_VERSION );

    Thank you. Should I do that through ftp? The last and only time I tried to change that file, I got the dreaded white screen.

    Always edit php files through FTP.
