    Hi Everyone!

I am working on a theme I am very proud of and yet there is an issue I cannot seem to solve.

When I upload my theme to WordPress the comment form does not display on ANY POST or ANY PAGE and I have to go into Genesis > Theme Settings and check the boxes to enable them there.

What code do I need to add to make this happen out of the box and where do I need to add it? As soon as I have this sorted I will have a theme ready to share with the world

There is a filter for changing the Genesis Default Settings, but I think it's a bad idea to take away choice and force users to do things your way. You may like having comments enabled but not all users do. Leave the choice to your users and explain how to activate comments in your theme setup instructions if they choose to.
