    I'm trying to find the right hook to insert a bit of text (which will be pulled from a custom field) right after the closing </h1> for the post title. Everything I was able to find sticks it after the page header, right before the content.

    Any input?

    The post title executes with a priority of 10. Post_info has a priority of 12. Give your function a priority of 11 to execute immediately afterward the title and before the post_info.

    add_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'my_acf_field', 11 );

    I think I just found what's going on...the theme has the default actions removed and re-added in different orders.

    No, I was incorrect...that doesn't appear to be the issue.

    It looks like you're using a custom theme. The developer may not have used the standard setup. It's not possible to tell without reviewing the code.

    Your original question asked how to insert text after the post title. The post title is always after the page header. The Post title is content. Content always appears after the header. Where do you really want the text to display? Above the header? You need to be more specific with your request. You may be asking for something with the incorrect terminology.

    Hey Victor.

    It was started using Showcase as a foundation.

    Here is what I'm talking about. I'm trying to put it right after the post title, where you see the red X.
