I run a well read site and I've had many requests for a "More Posts" link at the bottom of the front page. Readers want t be able to find older posts, and Ideally i'd like a link that takes you to older pages as far back as people want.

This is what and where I'd like it:

Most themes I've used in the past have this automatically. Maybe I'm not seeing how to add it to the front page but any ideas on how to add this would be much appreciated.

Using widgets as you have done with your front page, you can't add the more posts link unless you add it manually in a text widget and point it to a blog page, but then, how will you know where to start the blog page?

More posts is a custom pagination link. It is only available in WordPress on blog pages or archive pages. You could rewrite the front-page.php code to display the WordPress loop in the widget areas instead of using widgets, but this is a lot of work to get right. If you are not a developer, you may want to consider hiring someone.

Thanks, Victor, I figured it was a developer thing. I'm genuine surprised that it isn't included as part of the News Pro theme though. Every other theme I've ever used had some variation on it.

why not look for aplugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-load-more/

Also, I believe JetPack has this capability - BUT - don't hold me to this!
