    My site is businessmodel.guru and I analyse companies using the same process/methodology each time.

    What I want is a 'template' (wordpress uses template in a specific way and I don't think I mean that) that everytime I create a post it will automatically put in the headings and all the other constants, together with instructions on the variables. This will then help keep all my posts consistent over time whoever does them - and save a few minutes every time we produce one.

    Whats the best way to do this? Best = something simple and quick to setup to give a fast ROI on my time.

    If I'm understanding you correctly, you are looking for a template for entering post content on the backend? WordPress post templates are for displaying content on the front end, not providing instructions on the back end.

    You may better off using a premium form builder like Formidable Forms or Gravity Forms that will create custom post types when you save the form.
