    Hi I want to use the widget on my home page that is directly underneath my hero section to
    show a quote (currently one from Gary Vaynerchuck)

    The widget is: #front-page-1

    The problem is that even with a really small font size the total height of the widget is way too big and dwarfs the quote.

    I have used inspect element to try to find the right part of the widget to either reduce the margins or padding but everything I try doesn't work.

    When I do think I have found a solution I realise its affecting other widgets too.

    Can somebody point me in the right direction?

    The widget height is controlled in this CSS in style-front.css:

    .flexible-widget-area .wrap {
        padding-top: 10%;
        padding-bottom: 10%;
    }

    This code applies to all flexible widget areas on the front page. To specify front-page-1, you have to add a new CSS block after the above code:

    .front-page-1.flexible-widget-area .wrap {
        padding-top: 0;
        padding-bottom: 0;
    }
