    I'm using Metro Pro child theme and after adding a 'Home' link in the menu it constantly shows the hover color. How can I remove the hover color so that the Home navigation link looks like the others?

    Thanks in advance!

    Would that be when you are on the Home page? This is normal so that people know which page they are on.

    Yes when on the Home page, I realize that may be the case, but I still would like to remove the color so the nav bar does not draw attention.

    Still needing help on this if anyone knows...

    All I am wanting to do is alter the active page color (menu background) to be the same as if it is not being hovered. I would like to keep the hover color as-is.

    Look for following code in style.css file

    .genesis-nav-menu a:hover,
    .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a {
    	background-color: #f96e5b;
    	color: #fff;
    }

    replace above with following

    .genesis-nav-menu a:hover {
    	background-color: #f96e5b;
    	color: #fff;
    }
    .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a {
    	background-color: #333333;
    	color: #fff;
    }

    Thanks Davinder, however it still shows the same as it did - no change even after multiple page refreshes. Any ideas?

    Can you share your website url to find exact class and associate color code?

    You will need to use:

    .metro-pro-red .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a

    .metro-pro-red .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a:hover
