Any idea on how to do that to my buttons (i.e. color off to the side, but inside when hovered over)?

Building my site with the Boss Pro Theme.

Those buttons are actually their navigation menu. Explaining how to do that here would require writing a lengthy tutorial. I suggest you Google "slide out menu" for examples. There are over 11 million results.
