    Hi!

I'm using both the Genesis Responsive Slider on my homepage and the Featured Page Widget in the bottom right hand corner. I have directed the Featured Page Widget to the "Blog" page. I want to use the Blog template for the "Blog" page but it pulls all the posts from the Slider. I don't want it to do that.

Is there a way to limit what the Blog template pulls for Posts? Such as if I use custom Categories on the the Slider, like "Photos" for what I want in the slider and then what I want to go on the Blog page use a "Blog" category?

    Thank you!

You can do exactly what you are asking with built-in Genesis features. Here's an article that explains how: http://victorfont.com/use-query_args-filter-wordpress-posts/
