I am using Genesis Author Pro on my homepage as links to demo sites. I am wanting to have it so that the image does not link back to the book page, but either doesn't link anywhere or I can customize where it links. Is this possible?https://themoderntradesman.com
You have to be a lot more specific with your question. I viewed your site and you have lots of images on the page. What image specifically do you not want linking to a book page?
Each of the the images on the home page that relate to a trade and have the View Demo link underneath them. I don't want any of those images to link.
You are using the featured book widget to display the posts, which is from the Genesis Author Pro plugin.
Unfortunately, you can't change the widget without jumping through hoops. The image output with link is hard coded into the widget. There is no way to change this without rewriting the plugin specifically for your custom needs. If you're not a PHP programmer, you would have to hire a professional.
You'd be better off using custom HTML to display the images and buttons as you want them rather than custom post types and the featured book widget. It's still a lot of work, but the end result will be exactly what you want. You have to know how to code in HTML and CSS to do this right.
I was able to redirect the pages to the demo sites so that the images now take you to the correct place.
