    Hi all,

I'm using Generate Pro and I would like to make my home page a static home page, rather than having a blog appear on it.

Is there any way to easily do this? (I'm not a web developer, just a sod trying to create my own site, so I hope I can understand how to do this, if it's possible).

    Thank you,
    Debra

P.S. I would like to keep the blog functionality, but I would prefer to have "blog" in my menu and link to it from the home page.
    Thank you!

You can use a static home page with any theme. Create a new page and call it home. Go to WordPress Settings/Reading and the static front page to the page you just created.

Thank you, Victor. I was missing the part about having to actually create the page before the Static page option appears in the Settings>Reading screen. I was looking for the static option during the Add Page process.

    Onward!

    Thanks, again,
    Debra
