    Hello guys,

    I have a huge problem and I hope you can help me.

    I wanted to get a full width header and followed the advice in this article:

    Customize Header Logo & Banner Images In Metro Theme

    It worked out great, except the problem that the header image is not responsive. Therefore, it looks really bad on mobile devices.

    I hope that someone can help me to make the header responsive, so that it looks good on desktop and mobile devices.

    Here is the code that is in my functions.php:

    //* Add support for custom header
    add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
    'flex-height' => true,
    'width' => 1080,
    'height' => 120,

    kind regards,
    Sebastian

    Add background-size: contain !important; to your custom CSS for the background image.

    Hello Victor,

    thanks a lot for your reply.

    How do I do that? (sorry, I am really bad at the technical stuff)

    Could you maybe show me on the basis of the code that I shared with you, how it will look like in the end?

    Would love to hear from you.

    Thanks,
    Sebastian

    I'm running into a related problem. I used the instructions for "Option 6" in this post: http://keypresswp.com/getting-your-head-around-header-images/

    I now have responsive headers on both of my sites: patientambition.com and researchteacher.com

    The problem is that when I try to upload an updated header (larger dimensions, different text) it doesn't appear on the site. As per the instructions above I am uploading the new headers to the "images" folder in the "metro-pro" folder on each website via Filezilla FTP. I've tried refreshing the pages, clearing the cache/history, deleting and re-uploading the files and deleting and re-inserting the code from the instructions above. I'm still seeing the initial header that I first uploaded. Any advice as to what I can do to fix this would be appreciated.
