I just switched my website from the child theme to Wellness Pro. I can't figure out how to enable the front page that is seen on the demo for Wellness Pro. I know how to make a static front page in Appearance - Customize - Static Front Page. But can't figure out how to back to the original front page.

    Hi Lindsay,

What you need to do now is place widgets in the widget areas through the customizer. That will make your static front page begin to appear like the demo. Make sense? Without widgets placed on the homepage, you'll get the result you're seeing now.

You don't use a static front page with if you want the widgets to display. The WordPress reading settings for the front page needs to be set to display your latest posts. This makes WordPress walk through the home page template hierarchy. Once you have content in your widget areas, the widgetized home page will display.
