I have installed the Simple Edits plugin to update my footer credits to custom links and no matter what I do they will not work properly.
1. My first issue is I can not remove the first line, its like its in the template somewhere and I cant find it. I'm NOT removing theme credit because I added in my custom line right under this.
2. The links inside my custom line won't link right. It adds my domain URL in front which brings up a page not found.This is my code that I've placed in the Footer Credits Text box.

http://www.bothbarrelspromotions.com/wp/A lot of third party developers hard code footer credits into their themes. If you can't find the code in functions.php, it would be located in a file called by functions.php. Since this isn't a theme by Studio Press, we wouldn't have access to the code to tell you where it is. Perhaps you should ask the developer.
