    Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to make my background fixed in ios. It works fine on the desktop. Any suggestions?

    I did already have a look at the link you posted but I don't understand the instructions. Do I insert the code below somewhere?

    That is structure one should use to get fixed effect. As such fixed background property is disabled by Apple on iOS devices.

    You can also try javascript route to get effect close to fixed background.
