I’m wondering if any of you know if it’s possible to display a featured post from another one of your wordpress blogs?

I have two WP blogs run on the genesis framework. One wedding blog and one lifestyle blog. I would like to be able to display some of my lifestyle posts on the wedding blog and vice versa.

Does anyone know if or how this can be done? Should I set it up as a Multisite?

    Any tips are much appreciated!

Multisite won't help you because content in a multisite installation is still stored in separate table sets. Displaying the exact content on two sites will also cause you to lose SEO ranking because of duplicate content, which Google frowns upon.

WordPress versions before 4.9 included a "Press This" bookmarklet that allowed you to curate content from other sites. This feature has been removed from WordPress core in version 4.9. If you want this feature, you have to use the replacement Press This plugin found here: https://github.com/WordPress/press-this/.

Thank you for your response, Victor!

So if I install that plugin will it just create a new post that is populated from my other site or does it link to the other site’s post?

    Thanks

I don't know. I haven't used the plugin. All I can suggest is try it and see what it does.
